Mount Prospect Chapter
Tish Chapman. L-R seated: Keri Hubert, Camille Sullivan and Lucy Murphy.
Membership News . . . Our Chapter held meetings during the months of February, March, April and May. Co-President, Kerry Hubert, presented our new set of By-Laws and Standing Rules which were approved by our members and then voted on and ratified at the April 15th Auxiliary Meeting. A memory donation was made on behalf of Dot Scissors who was a very active member of our Chapter for many, many years. There was much discussion on various ideas on what we will do to raise funds.
On the fundraising front . . . Both of the fundraisers we submitted were approved: Lynch Creek Farm will run Aug. 25th – Dec. 14. We will be offering fresh fall, winter and holiday options that will be shipped directly to the customer and the Auxiliary will receive a percentage of the sale.
RaiseRight – an online platform that has partnered with hundreds of brands. Participants can choose from eGift Cards, physical Gift Cards or reloadable Gift Cards that can be stored in their online wallet. Rebates range from 1-14%. We can earn funds while purchasing groceries, shopping online or dining.
One more thing . . . Our member, Cindy Bork, has been working to create a Social Media presence for our Chapter. We feel it’s important to let our community know that, after a long pause, our Chapter is once again becoming active in supporting the Infant Welfare.
